A temporary error message was displayed when I clicked the 'Submit' button in my online VAT return. How do I know if my return has been submitted?
Log in to your online account again and access the 'Submit a return' online service.
If the period you were filling in is no longer shown in the table on the ‘Select period’ screen then your return has been submitted. If the period is still shown in the table then you will have to try to submit it again.
