Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR)

The Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) will have been given by HM Revenue & Customs when registering for Self Assessment. It is made up of ten numbers eg 1234567890 and you will find it on the Tax Return (SA100), a Notice to complete a Tax Return or on a Statement of Account.
