Description
A Fire Alarm System Zone Monitor Module, with a Short Circuit Isolator (SCI) is intended for use in addressable two wire systems, which can be connected with two-wire conventional detectors. The Module comprises of a Populated PCB in a Plastic enclosure containing user interface connectors, LEDS on the front of the product for indication of Fire or Fault conditions. The address is settable from 001 to 254 by a dedicated programmer. The module monitors and transmits the status (normal, open, short, or alarm) of zone with the detectors to a control panel. The module is used for Class A (Style D & E) and Class B (Style B & C) operation, for use with the UL Panel, capable of interfacing up to 20 Conventional Detectors on to an Addressable Loop. The Module acts as a Slave unit, taking its control commands from the primary Addressable Fire Alarm Panel and reporting Fire and Fault conditions. The applied voltage rated range 20 to 38 Vdc. The product is imported specifically for the company and cannot be resold as an "off the shelf" device by general stores or by any non-specialist outlet. It does not contain an integral sounder or recording device. The dimensions H124 x W 124 x D 34.5 mm (4.882 H x 4.882 x W 1.358 D) - Mount to a 4" square by 2 1 eighth deep box.) It is packaged singularly in a cardboard box or within a larger cardboard box containing 10 or 100 units.
