- Description
- Test Rig Gear Box. It is used within a helicopter test rig application which is specifically designed to test the aircraft propulsion system. The test rigs are designed and drawn using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and the gear box then assembled, tested, and finally commissioned proving they are functionally correct. It is a fixed ratio speed reducing gearbox with one input shaft and two output shafts. The gearbox is made from steel and aluminium and is packaged in specially designed wooden crates.
