Description
The product is a fusion instrument, it is designed for heating glass discs or borate solutions. Dimensions are H 43 x D 36 x W 43 cm. Weight is 17kg Comprising a gas fired heating system, crucibles for containing the samples to be heated, containers for collecting the samples, switches and a control panel. There are 3 positions allowing up to 3 samples to be processed at any one time In normal operation the user places samples into the crucibles for heating, the system then heats the samples to melting point, for a specified time before pouring the molten sample into the containers

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
