- Description
- The product is a fusion instrument, it is designed for heating glass discs or borate solutions for the purpose of scientific analysis Dimensions are H 71 x D 72 x W 102 cm. Weight is 127kg. Power is 240v, system draws 30amps. Comprising an resistance heated furnace, crucibles for containing the samples to be heated, containers for collecting the samples, automatic robotics for moving the samples into and out of the furnace, switches and a touch-screen control panel. There are 6 positions allowing up to 6 samples to be processed at any one time Samples are placed into the crucibles which are then drawn into the furnace using the system’s automated mechanisms. The samples are then heated to 1200-1250 decrees Celsius and held there for a set amount of time after which the mechanism will pour the molten solutions into the containers where they are allowed to cool before being presented to the operator
