Description
A multifunction bench. The item was made circa 1954 and designed by Augusto Bozzi, an Italian designer born in 1924. The item is a bench style seat which stands on the floor supported by a pair of legs at each end. The two legs are joined together by a support bar. The bench has a seat area at each end and the middle has an integrated seat upholstered and covered in fabric. The frame and legs are made from teak wood.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following:- For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect : a. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)) General interpretative rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading Heading 9401 - Seats (other than those of heading 9402), whether or not convertible into beds, and parts thereof. GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 940161 - Other seats, with wooden frames; upholstered.
