Description
A non sterile single use hearing aid indicator used by a surgeon. This device determines the correct position for a hearing aid implant. It is designed to look like the actual system it will be used for. The device is placed on the patient to indicate the spot where the implant will go and ensures that the sound processor and actuator units are horizontally aligned and there is no contact between them. Made from Biocompatible material as per ISO 10993-1 series of standards. Packed in clear plastic clamshell and sold to audiologists, hospitals and authorised distributors.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
