- Description
- Fire safety testing kit, designed to test for both smoke and heat. The kit contains a Head unit, 1 capsule, battery and charger, telescopic access poles to 5 metres and a backpack. The equipment is used to test smoke, heat and multi-sensor fire detector systems. The equipment delivers controlled levels of stimulus via the head unit which produces heat to test the detector and monitors the detectors status using an LED (light-emitting diode). A sensor system gives feedback to the user to determine whether the fire detector test has been successful. The telescopic access poles allows the detector removal tool to reach up to 5 metres and the kit includes a backpack to store and carry the equipment. The equipment is constructed from a mixture of technical polymers (33% Polypropylene and 30% ABS by volume), PCBA's and their associated components. Packaged in cardboard shipping carton.
