- Standard mounting base for smoke and heat detectors with connectors but without any sound signalling device. The base is designed to be fitted without the need for force, particularly useful when fitting to suspended ceilings. The base features detector locking mechanism and one-way fit. It is easy to wire and contains an earth connector and terminal for remote indicator. Polycarbonate with nickel plated stainless steel terminals
