- Description
- A non - electric dehumidifier An interior dehumidifier designed to absorb moisture/humidity from the atmosphere This action also reduces the formation of mould and fungus, from cupboards, rooms, boats, caravans. The product is based on 100% calcium chloride anhydrous beads, described as 250gms of small beads. The product consists of a purpose opaque plastic tub, with a perforated internal moulded shelf, the beads themselves are initially sealed in a polybag, with a sealed foil lid to the top of the tub. This stops any moisture activating the beads prior to sale. A lattice shaped plastic lid is then placed on the top of the tub. Once the foil lid is removed, the beads are opened and placed on a perforated tray. The beads then begin absorbing any damp, moisture and condensation from rooms or cupboards in the home. The moisture is absorbed into the beads which then begin to dissolve into a clear viscus liquid. The liquid then drips through the perforations in the tray and collects into the base of the polypropylene tub to be disposed of safely. The tubs are made from polypropylene (PP). They are reusable as they can be replenished with fresh beads, which can be purchased separately. The tub is shrink wrapped and has a printed sticker describing the product. The product is mainly supplied to the trade.
