- Description
- A High Voltage gas filled ceramic Relay 12Vcoils SPDT Latch used within submerged Repeaters on Optical Fibre submarine cable system. It is Electric and made of metal and circuit coil with gas filled sealed ceramic envelope. The type of relay used SPDT - With the coil energized and de-energized, apply rated “test voltage” voltage between open contacts. Ground the base and connect the normally open contacts to the base. The contracts are sealed in a chamber at the top of the relay with Coils in it and covered with a case/packaged. The Relays work as Switches, voltage limiter packed with metal and plastic chamber. They are working as protector and switch. With a design life: 25 years and Seabed depth: 8000m. Operating temperature range: 0 to 35C, Working voltage: up to 12KV, Line current; 0.7 to 2.1 Amp.
