Description
A High Static castellated Gel Foam support mattress for comfort, immersion and pressure redistribution. Able to support and shape around bony protuberances to provide maximum comfort and give pressure relief. Cells will inflate for the patient to receive active therapy. A foam base that in the event of a power cut prevents patients from bottoming out. Covered hose for better infection control. Individual replaceable cells. Mechanical (or Dynamic) Therapy loading & offloading fully allows perfusion and thus reactive hyperemia. The support system is designed to give patients mechanical therapy in line with their treatment plan. It is separated by a surface and a pump packaged together. The pump functions as • APA – Auto pressure Adjustment – continually monitors the internal pressures so that it delivers the optimum interface pressures as patients move and change. Low pressure and power failure audible and visual alarms. Clinician override means Tissue Viability Nurses can override the auto setting to provide a lower or higher internal cell pressure as required. BoM attached and instruction sample. Justification
