- Description
- A plastic canister (SID Can) with internal carbon filter. - The SID-Cans are mainly of plastic composition with rubber o rings. For use with a with a SID Dock, for the collection of waste anaesthetic gas during surgery. The Can contains a filter material that selectively absorbs waste anaesthetic. The filter material is made of activated carbon. Waste anaesthetic gas is absorbed onto the cans inside the dock capture device as part of the capture of waste volatile anaesthetic gases from the anaesthetic machine exhaust stream. The SID-Cans will be exported with a clean filter . They are expected be 're-imported' with waste anaesthetic attached to the filter in the canisters. The SID-Cans are not expected to be sold/exported permanently. SID-Cans are either green or blue (single colour shipments only) . Dimensions of each 277mm long , 128mm diameter. Max loaded weight 2kg. Quantities of 4 or 6 Sid-Cans are packaged into 'Tote' boxes (4 or 6 per Tote) onto standard pallets
