Description
A cooking wine that is a traditional Asian sauce with a 14% alcohol content. It is traditionally used as a sauce in the Asian cuisine to flavour food and during this cooking process the alcohol evaporates. The ingredients are water, alcohol, salt, flavour, acidity regulator E330, food colouring E150D, Preservatives E202, E211. The cooking wine is unfit for immediate consumption as a beverage due to the high salt content. It is undrinkable. Packaged in jerry cans of 5litres (4 x 5l per case)

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
