- Description
- The Silicone Wedge is used as a masking device when applying a coating to a surgical instrument. It is manufactured from silicone rubber. The silicone wedge is V shaped and it is used to hold a section of the device open during cleaning and coating. It is produced from a compression moulding process. It is then pressed into the surgical instrument covering surfaces that do not required the coating. It is packaged in a polyethylene bag and cardboard box.
