- Description
- A band splitter module that is a rack-mountable plug-in module for a wired data transmission in optical networks with WDM (Wavelength Division multiplexing) technology. It is used for bi-directional data transmission by transmitting signals from different wavelengths, combines (multiplexing) or splits (demultiplexing), and sends. This device is a 16 to 8 multiplexer or 8 to 16 demultiplexer. It combines 16 input signals of different wavelengths into 8 outputs or splits 8 input signals to 16 outputs of different wavelengths. The band splitter module is specially designed for the developed use in WDM networks in the C-band in combination with the 1650nm band, it separates and combines the C-band from the 1650nm band.
