- Aluminium ‘spiralled ground spike’ and plastic knob to tighten the umbrella once inserted Used in the ground/earth It also comes with an aluminium bar that allows you to turn the spike into the ground. Once in the ground you then insert the umbrella handle into the ground spike and tighten the knob. Packed in a poly bag only.
