Description
A hand made 1:8 scale limited edition model of a 1937 Bugatti Type 57 “Tank”, by Sean McKenna a Scottish model maker based in France probably produced from the mid 1990's. Finely detailed scratch-built static model constructed from mainly metal parts. Finished in two-tone blue finish, wire-spoked wheels with rubber tyres, with opening bonnet revealing engine detail, approx. 40cm long, contained in display case. This model was based on the road-going Type 57 Grand Touring car, designed by Ettore Bugatti’s son, Jean Bugatti.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. GIR 6 - has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 830629 - Statuettes and other ornaments, Other than plated with precious metal.
