- Description
- This is a bearing hub kit for use with seed-drilling machinery fitted to tractors. The kit comprises of the bearing hub assembly and a nut. The Kit serves as a link between the seed drill discs and the main frame of the seed drill, enabling free rotation of the discs which create channels in the soil allowing seeds to be planted. The outer housing is made of cast steel which bolts to the seed disc, a shaft connects to a steel double row ball bearing inside from the main frame of the seed drill. This is made of 100CR6 bearing steel, there is an oil seal which prevents dirt ingress and an O-ring which creates a sealing point where the part meets the seed disc. These are made from NBR rubber. These products are put into plastic bags and then packed into boxes of 9 and 32 boxes to a pallet for shipping

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Classification has been determined in accordance with the following:- General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 8432 – Agricultural, horticultural or forestry machinery for soil preparation or cultivation; lawn or sports-ground rollers. GIR 3 (b) has been used as the bearing hub assembly is considered to be the essential character. GIR 5 (b) has been used to identify normal packaging for transport – bags, boxes and pallets GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to sub-heading 843290 - Parts Also classified in accordance with :- Harmonised Standard Explanatory Notes (HSENs) to Heading 8432
