Description
Aluminium Alloy Loading Skid Finished Assembly. By definition, a loading ramp / skid is an inclined plane used to load and unload materials from a vehicle or container. Loading ramps are useful for getting heavy objects from a truck bed or trailer to the ground or vice versa. Ramps can be used inside warehouses or outside in shipping or train yards. Depending on the construction, loading ramps can be designed to carry the weight of foot traffic, hand trucks, or even fully laden forklifts. 6063 is an aluminium alloy, with magnesium and silicon as the alloying elements. T6 temper 6063 has an ultimate tensile strength of at least 190 MPa (28,000 psi) and yield strength of at least 160 MPa (23,000 psi).
