Monofilament of nylon Monofilament nylon is a polyamide nylon 6.6 (co-polymer) of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid) which has a decitex exceeding 67 No cross-sectional dimension exceeds 1 mm It is used for sutures and is not sterile The colours are logwood black, blue and natural dyestuffs It is supplied on reels and requires further processing and re-packaging by customers before being used in surgery

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
