- Description
- Gantry Mill which operates by the components being loaded on a fixed bed for conventional milling operations, or on a rotating face plate for turning operations. In milling mode a configuration of the machine allows greater access around the components and top face and both sides can be accessed without the need to manipulate the component. In turning mode 1 a cutting tool is located in the Ram of the machine, the tool is static and the component rotates. In turning mode 2 various heads can be located onto the Ram allowing cutting tools to machine the component. In this mode the component can either be static or rotating. The machines are of a cast steel construction in the machine condition with electrical and pneumatic systems and they will be shipped in several consignments and assembled in the company works. The packaging is a wooden base with weather protection with some components, such as electrical items, fully boxed.
