- Carbon Steel Blind Flange used to blank off the end of 'Marine Hose String' to retain residual product The Lightweight Blind Flange is used to blank off the end of a hose string both to retain residual product outboard of the butterfly valve and to protect the Camlock flange face (or other terminating equipment). The Lightweight Blind Flange should not be used for pressure testing
