- Description
- A slewing ring bearing consists of 2 machined or profiled rings separated by a set of rolling elements (balls or rollers, singular or plural) and as such can handle a combination of axial, radial and moment loads. The rings provide bolt holes for mounting and can also offer an integral gear for the transmission of power (for rotation). As such they combine bearing and power transmission qualities. Construction is machined carbon steel or an alloy steel.
