- Description
- For French Knitting. A French Doll or weaver, knitting set containing a brightly coloured wooden doll painted in yellow, blue, and red. The doll has a pink head with a painted face. 4 10g balls of polyester knitting yarn, a crochet hook and instruction manual on how to use the doll and complete projects. The top of the doll has 4 stainless steel loops embedded into the wood to enable the user to create stitches. The stitches are created by looping the yarn around the pegs and passing over the previous loop on the peg. Once the stitches are formed according to the instructions, the work falls through a central hole drilled into the doll. Continuous stitches form a long cylindrical type of tube. This is then stitched together to make various products such as mittens, hats, table mats, plus many other projects. Measuring approximately 9cm X 4.5 Packaged in a colour and white printed cardboard box depicting the items included in the set.
