- Description
- Pressure activated valve, female luer lock inlet , tube filament outlet - HBVAL002A. This is a component used in the assembly for anaesthesia tube sets for the medical industry. When in operation the spring and upstream pressure apply opposing forces on the valve. When the force of the upstream pressure exerts a greater force than the spring force, then the poppet moves away from the valve seat which allows fluid to pass through the outlet port. The valve is made from thermoplastic Polymer Makrolon® Rx1805. It is packaged in bulk using a double polybag and corrugated box carton. The polybag has a minimum thickness of 1.5mil and is closed to prevent contamination. Approximately 1500 valves are packaged per double polybag and approximately 3000 per corrugated box carton. The product is palletised with shrink wrap.
