- Description
- A signal converter and monitoring equipment designed for the purpose of combining and converting audio, video and control signals into light signals that can then be sent via SMPTE fibre for communications between broadcasting premises such as a TV studio or outside broadcast truck and a remote device such as a studio camera in a remote location up to 2KM away. The device itself comprises electronic circuitry and components in a housing. On the front are the controls, USB connector and an LCD panel, on the back are an array of BNC connectors for SDI, 4 XLR balanced analogue audio outputs, the optical connector, an ethernet connector, IEC mains input, intercom/tally and PTZ connectors. Dimensions in mm are 210.3W X 88.4H X 371.9D. Weight is 2.8KG
