- Description
- Sonar 2008 Power Supply which is a 24v power supply and mains control unit used as part of an underwater telephone system for communication with other vessels. The unit provides a dc supply of 24v/2.5a nominal for the operation of the relays within the Tx/Rx and acoustic link control unit. Also housed within the unit are relays, used to switch the 115v 60hz mains supply, and the mains isolating switch. Auxiliary contacts on the relay connect the 115v 60hz supply to the conditioning heaters. It is made from multiple components including stainless steel housing, stainless steel fixings (screws, washers etc), wiring and electrical connectors and is packaged in dedicated SPIS packaging.
