Description
This is a chassis that is used to house steel trays which are designed to be fitted with cassettes loaded with fibre optic connectors or pairs of strands. The Fibre optic patch panels are enclosures that act as a distribution hub for fibre cable. A bulk (multi-strand) fibre cable enters the patch panel and then each fibre strand is separated into individual strands. It does not have electrical connections or the ability to install them. The product is mostly made of steel with a small mixture of other plastics. Packaged in a cardboard box

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
