Description
Ribbon cable used for connection of integrated circuits and Printed Circuit Boards in a build of Optical Switch. It is made from insulated wires that are fixed in position to prevent crossing of wires. Ribbon cable has a shrouded header on both ends and is fitted with connectors. The voltage is less than 1000V.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
