- Description
- The plug is designed to block or seal an opening and is used as a protective barrier against contamination, damage or foreign object debris during maintenance, transport or storage of an aircraft ejection seat. The plug is made from a rigid Polyvinylchloride (PVC) and has a streamer (made of fabric) attached via metal keyring. The streamer is high visibility with the words “Remove before flight” present. During pre-flight checks the plug is removed by pulling on the streamer.
