- Description
- A handheld microwave analyser that is a portable, battery-operated device designed for testing and analysing high-frequency signals in the microwave and RF (radio frequency) range. It is a handheld device with an LCD display screen and carry strap. On the top of the unit, there are two RF connection ports, a GPS receiver, and an external reference trigger input. On the right side, there is also a LAN port, two USB ports, an SD card slot, an external reference and trigger output, and the wideband intermediate frequency output. On the left side of the unit, there is a headphone jack, DC bias variable voltage source, and charging port. This analyser is a versatile RF test instrument which can measure many parameters. It is configurable as a cable, an antenna analyser, network analyser, spectrum analyser, and power meter. When applied to satellite communication systems, this handheld microwave analyser can be used to test satellite signal strength, link quality, and antenna performance, ensuring reliable satellite communication. It also behaves like a spectrum analyser and an oscilloscope, enabling the user to measure the amplitude of signals across a range of frequencies. It can detect and analyse signal integrity and interference issues, for example noise. This is itself important for identifying sources of interference or signal degradation, which can affect network performance, especially in critical communication systems. The handheld microwave analyser can be used as a vector network analyser (VNA), which also measures the S-parameters of components like antennas and cables. It is critical in testing the reflection, transmission, and impedance matching of RF components. The handheld microwave analyser is shipped within a protective hard case with foam insert.
