Description
The power sensors are designed to provide accurate, real-time measurements of RF (Radio Frequency) signal power. One end of the power sensor has a USB connector for connection to computers and at the other end there is a N-type RF connector. The USB power sensors come with software or software compatibility that allows for easy data visualisation, logging, and analysis. Power sensors are widely used in test and measurement environments, particularly in satellite communication and RF systems. By measuring the power of the RF signals, the sensor helps detect any degradation or loss in the signal's strength. This is important for maintaining signal integrity and ensuring reliable communication. A USB power sensor involves the direct conversion of RF (radio frequency) or microwave power into a measurable voltage, which is then processed by an internal microcontroller. The sensor quantifies this voltage to determine the power level of the signal.
