- Description
- This product is a hot rolled, aluminium alloy plate. That is a flat rectangular shape (including square). Standard dimensions: Thicknesses of 6mm to 420mm, lengths up to 25000mm. The manufactured process plates minimum measurement can be 6mm thickness, width 600mm and length of 2000mm. All process plates will be cut to size to meet customer satisfaction requirements at a minimum of 50mm (W) x 50mm (L). The plates are to be used in sectors such as aerospace, defence, general engineering and commercial within the UK as well as outside the UK home market. The product is sometimes cold compressed as part of the stress relieving process. Material is packed down into wooden cases/supports and often wrapped with a hard board top and base in plastic covering for further protection from the elements.
