- Doorbell cameras are Wi-Fi-enabled devices that can connect with your smartphone through an app allowing you to: Receive alerts when someone is at your door. Talk to people standing just outside your home. Watch what's happening in real time. Video doorbell cameras are made from a variety of materials, including plastic and metal a camera 1,280-by-720-pixel, motion sensor, ring button. Video doorbells have Raspberry Pi 4, a camera module, a micro SD card slot and motion detection. They are made up of a camera, microphone, speaker, and doorbell, and they can be either battery-powered or hardwired into an existing doorbell.
