- Description
- This product is a hand applied probe used for measuring semiconductor samples such as silicon wafers, implanted wafers, flat panels, semiconducting films etc.. The unit comprises a brass weighted Polytetrafluoroethylene (PFTE) holder for a four point probe, allowing four needles to make electrical contact with a measured sample. The probe is generally used in research applications, to introduce a constant current to the test materials and measure the resultant voltage drop. This enables the resistance or resistivity of the material to be determined. Connection is made to an external current source and voltmeter by means of insulated lead.
