Description
This product is a probe that is a mechanism where a piece of semiconductor material or semiconductor wafer can be positioned by a micrometre controlled coordinated stage, that has a rotary table and optional vacuum retention. The sample is contacted by four electrically isolated needles located within an electrically isolated guidance unit. The load on each needle is set by individual tension gauges. The needle contacts are used to pass a current through the object material, and to measure the subsequent voltage drop enabling the resistivity or resistance of the material to be calculated.
