Description
A electronic push button switch 'Cut out Switch' for silencing vehicle safety sounders when the sound would not be appropriate for instance late at night. The switch is operated by a push button and comes in two versions, one when the cut-out of the alarm occurs for a set period of time after the button is pushed, and one when the alarm is silenced until the button is pressed again. The override switch is pushed to disable the reverse alarm for approx 4 minutes, after this time has elapsed the alarm will operate normally until the button is re-pressed. The rated voltage of the switches is between 12-24 volts of direct current and rated current is at 300 milliamps or less. The durability and Standards CE marked and EMC approved. The switch is made of a PCB board fitted with components that is sealed in resin inside a plastic case to make it waterproof. The switch come packaged in a plastic bag complete with button to operate, warning sticker and fitting instructions.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. GIR 5 (b) - has been used to identify the type of packaging - The switch come packaged in a plastic bag complete with button to operate, warning sticker and fitting instructions.
