- Description
- An assembly of components which work together to control the position and configuration of an earth station satellite antenna. Such operations include movement of the dish to maintain fixation on a satellite in orbit as well as receiving feedback information from the motors regarding the dish’s orientation. Components within the system include circuit protection switches, isolators, relays, power supplies, brake resistors, a display panel and other power management apparatus all connected together with wiring and are housed in a weather-proof cabinet situated outdoors near or attached to the antenna itself. Typical power requirement is no more than standard UK household voltage at 230-240 volts
