- The product is a light duty optics adapter It is made from hard-anodized 7075-T7351 aluminium Comprising a metal tube measuring about 20mm across with a 1/4"-20 UNC thread for attachment of equipment. It is designed to be mounted to a tripod and allows for various items of optical equipment such as lightweight spotting scopes, cameras, and other devices. A screw on the side can be tightened to lock the device in place once mounted
