- A VHP (Vaprox Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant) Bio-decontamination Unit with a frame which is constructed of aluminium and stainless steel and Casing which is scratch and crack resistant, moulded in colour, ABS plastic. The unit is used primarily in cleanrooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, laboratories, healthcare environments, and biosafety areas where sterile conditions are critical. The Bio-decontamination Unit is designed for mobile bio decontamination of clean, dry, sealed Enclosures (e.g. rooms, facilities and equipment) by using hydrogen peroxide vapor sterilisation. The unit uses vaporised solution of 35% hydrogen peroxide (Vaprox Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant - VHP.) The primary function of the Bio-decontamination Unit is to decontaminate enclosed spaces by eliminating microbial contaminants, ensuring sterile conditions in critical environments. It operates as a standalone sterilization unit or can be networked with multiple units for larger spaces. Equipped with a programmable control system, integrated sensors, and automated sterilant injection, it provides a validated and repeatable decontamination process. This capability is essential for pharmaceutical production, hospital infection control, and biosafety containment, where maintaining sterility is a regulatory and operational requirement. The Bio-decontamination Unit follows a multi-phase sterilization process to ensure thorough decontamination of enclosed spaces. The key processes involved are: Preparation Phase - The enclosure to be sterilized (e.g., a cleanroom, laboratory, or equipment chamber) is sealed to maintain a controlled environment. Operators select a pre-programmed decontamination cycle via the touchscreen PLC control system. The unit performs self-diagnostics to ensure system readiness. The Injection Phase: The system vaporizes Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant (35% H₂O₂ solution) and disperses it into the enclosure. Using high-velocity airflow, the vapor is uniformly distributed to reach all surfaces. The Smart-Phase software adjusts the hydrogen peroxide concentration based on temperature, humidity, and enclosure conditions, ensuring optimized decontamination.
