- Description
- A part of a control system of components which are intended for lawnmowers (not subject to the ATaR decision.) However the Part is only suitable for use solely or principally with the apparatus of heading(s) 8535, 8536 or 8537. The HMI board displays settings and operating modes, transmitting user commands to the internal systems. The components incorporate printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) utilising film circuit technology. This allows for basic electronic functions, such as rectification, modulation, or amplification of electrical signals. However, they are not intended to function as complex electrical control units, switches, or circuit protection devices. All components operate at a normal voltage of 18V. They do not function as traditional electrical or optical connectors. Each Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is carefully packed to protect it from physical damage and electrostatic discharge (ESD) during handling, storage, and transportation. Firstly, every PCBA is individually placed inside an anti-static or ESD shielding bag. These bags are specifically designed to prevent static electricity build-up by dissipating electrostatic charges, which helps protect sensitive electronic components from damage caused by ESD. The use of these ESD bags is a critical step to ensure the reliability and functionality of the PCBA throughout the supply chain. After being sealed in an ESD bag, each PCBA is placed into a sturdy cardboard box that contains individual compartments or slots. These slots are custom-sized to securely hold each unit separately, preventing the assemblies from coming into contact with one another. This separation is important to avoid physical damage such as scratches, bending, or impact that can occur if the boards were to move freely within the box. The cardboard box itself provides mechanical protection from external forces and environmental factors during shipping and storage. The combination of the ESD bags and the compartmentalized box offers comprehensive protection for the PCBA units, ensuring they remain intact and fully operational upon arrival. In addition, the packaging is typically labelled with warnings indicating that the contents are sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
