- Description
- These Fibre Optic Sealed Dome Closures are used as distribution nodes within a fibre network. Their main purpose is the securing, routing and connecting of optical fibres. These fibres are connected by fusing the incoming and outgoing fibres to one another. The optical fibres are a fraction of a milli-metre in diameter and utilize supplied splice trays to route, manage, protect and splice to other optical fibres within the dome. This activity creates the network from the point of broadcast to the premise or other final point within a network. There is no electrical voltage passed through these products as all transmitted signals travel over optical fibres. The products comprise of plastic (polypropylene) base, cover and other components along with stainless steel fabrications and other accessories, of various materials.
