- Description
- ChainBeam is a variant of our UniBeam tracking system for curtains/drapes and scenery in theatres and film studios worldwide; however, it can be used anywhere curtains are required, such as a domestic property. It is a similar aluminium extrusion to UniBeam I-beam shape and utilises steel components fitted with ball raced runners and carriers; these are inserted into the lower channel of the track to provide a route for either a single or double run of duplex chain. The track is operated by a chain drive motor. It can be either straight or curved; due to the high load capacity it's ideal for moving heavy or specialist loads such as LED screens, lighting or flying performers. This is the heaviest-duty track in the range, ideal for large scenic items, arena drapes, camera tracks, etc. The track system is packaged with cardboard boxes, paper void fill, cardboard edging for the track and black wrap.
