- Description
- A medical orthopaedic appliance. The silver splints are orthopaedic products which help support and/or stabilize joints, for fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists and elbows to reduce pain or prevent deformity. They are effective for different types of issues (diseases, disorders and injuries.) Each splint is custom made, for one specific patient, in the exact measurements for this patient, ensuring a perfect fit for a long-term orthopaedic solution. The purpose of the product is Patient Care to also provide rest and stability. The splints are hand-made in the company's production facility. The device is made of sterling silver: 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The products are packaged in a linen bag, with a label indicating for which patient this product is. Within the package is also a Declaration of Conformity (MDR 2017) and an Instruction for Use. The company complies with MDR 2017 and has an ISO 13485 certificate.
