- Description
- A 12V Filament Bulb Rear Combination Trailer Lamp is a lamp designed specifically for trailers. The Filament Bulb Rear Combination Trailer Lamp contains two 12V filament bulbs for stop, tail, direction indicator and numberplate lighting functions, mounted on an internal steel bracket, the light outputs being visible through a coloured protective lens. It also can be attached to the trailer by means of 2 steel mounting bolts or screws (not provided) via the various small holes provided in the lamp base moulding. There is a larger hole provided in the rear base moulding to allow the trailer’s electrical wiring loom to enter the lamp and connect to the contact terminals adjacent to the filament bulbs. The rear base, protective lens and numberplate lighting function lens are manufactured from injection moulded polycarbonate, polypropylene, ABS or similar. The protective lens is attached to the rear base by means of 2 steel screws. They are supplied bulk packed to trailer manufacturers in brown cartons but also can be supplied in a colour retail carton for the aftermarket.
