- Description
- A 60 litre (2.1 cubic feet) low temperature sterilization system. Its features include a control display panel which is located on the front of the sterilization unit, with an 8.4-inch screen, and a printer for an easy to read permanent record of the sterilization cycle. The operating temperature is approximately 50C (122°F) and the sterilizer chamber removes the pressure and moisture before increasing the temperature from approximately 50C to approximately 60C for the sterilant to be emitted in the chamber. The process is fully automated, is compatible with a broad range of materials. There are various pre-programmed cycles that can be selected to reflect the type of instruments needed to be sterilized, each cycle has a specific time and weight parameter to determine the proper amount of hydrogen peroxide from the sterilant cup that should be administered for sterilization. Overall sterilizer dimensions are - 572 x 835 x 1562 mm, chamber size - 330 x 711 x 254 mm, chamber volume - 60 litres.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: - General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)). GIR 1 - has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 8419 - Machinery, plant or laboratory equipment, whether or not electrically heated (excluding furnaces, ovens and other equipment of heading 8514), for the treatment of materials by a process involving a change of temperature such as heating, cooking, roasting, distilling, rectifying, sterilising, pasteurising, steaming, drying, evaporating, vaporising, condensing or cooling, other than machinery or plant of a kind used for domestic purposes; instantaneous or storage water heaters, non-electric. GIR 6 - has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 841920 - Medical, surgical or laboratory sterilisers.
