Description
The Magnetic Sensor Board (PCBA) is used in robotic lawn mowers to detect the position of magnets in three dimensions. This functionality is crucial for collision and lift detection, as well as for docking the mower in the charging station. The Magnetic Sensor Board is made from a printed circuit board (PCB) that includes various electronic components such as sensors, resistors, capacitors, and connectors. The Magnetic Sensor Board is designed by the Husqvarna Group and manufactured by suppliers according to specific specifications. The manufacturing process involves assembling the electronic components onto a PCB, soldering them in place. The units are tested by suppliers to ensure they meet Husqvarna's quality standards before shipping. The Magnetic Sensor Board works by detecting the position of magnets in three dimensions. This information is used by the mower's control system to determine if the mower has collided with an object or if it has been lifted. It also helps in accurately docking the mower in the charging station. The Magnetic Sensor Board is typically packaged in an anti-static bag to protect it from electrostatic discharge during transportation. It is then placed in a protective box with cushioning materials to prevent damage. The packaging includes labels with product information and handling instructions
