Description
A converter that turns 12G-SDI or SMPTE-2110 video into HDMI, all housed in a rack mount. It delivers top-quality conversion across all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards, with 3D LUTs for precise calibration of HDMI displays. It features a front panel LCD with video, meters, menus, plus 2-channel XLR monitoring outputs with adjustable gain and delay, as well as a speaker and headphone jack. The setup includes one SDI input and one SDI loop output, supporting SD, 1.5G, 3G, 6G, and 12G SDI rates. There's also an HDMI 2.0 video output. For IP video, it has a 10G Ethernet port for SMPTE 2110 input and output, supporting 16 channels of embedded audio over IP, so you get high-quality audio streaming. The SDI input and output also handle 16 channels of embedded audio, while the HDMI outputs 8 channels for both input and output. Plus, it offers two channels of balanced professional analogue audio via 3-pin XLR connectors, and a 6.35mm headphone socket for monitoring. You can also connect a webcam through the USB-C port, supporting up to 1080p60 resolution. The Ethernet port is compatible with 10/100/1000/10G BASE-T, for SMPTE 2110 IP video, device setup, and firmware updates. Lastly, the USB-C port can be used for webcam output, system updates, and configuration. Dimensions are 227 x 140 x 46.3 mm, and it weighs 2.0 kg. The product comes packaged in a cardboard box, with polystyrene/foam inserts.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: - General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)). GIR 1 - has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 8517 - Telephone sets, including smartphones and other telephones for cellular networks or for other wireless networks; other apparatus for the transmission or reception of voice, images or other data, including apparatus for communication in a wired or wireless network (such as a local or wide area network), other than transmission or reception apparatus of heading 8443 , 8525 , 8527 or 8528. GIR 5b - has been used to identify the type of packaging. GIR 6 - has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 851762 - Other apparatus for the transmission or reception of voice, images or other data, including apparatus for communication in a wired or wireless network (such as a local or wide area network); Machines for the reception, conversion and transmission or regeneration of voice, images or other data, including switching and routing apparatus. Also classified in accordance with: Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSEN) to heading 8517 - Note (II) (G).
